Leadership Meeting - Future of the Club

Leaders should act like leaders and set an example for the other members of the club.

Do not say "uh, umm, I don't know," etc.; try to answer their questions.

Leaders (and everyone else) should talk a lot; leaders should lead and run the meetings.

A lot of people are not motivated because the club is not yet official.

People should do work because the 5 Congress positions are contingent are your participation.

Research more in depth and learn how to research correctly.

We have created bullet points to create a good research paper.

The next meeting will probably be a discussion of qualities of a good research paper.

These essays should be informative and tell both sides of an argument.

Make connections with important people that can help us out (ASB, Conservatory (Cinema), etc.).

Contact CCATV and Video Film teacher because we want to add our advertisements to CCATV.

Get merit based on achievements rather than hours.

Debate structure and format:

Each group should share both/all sides of the argument and ask most questions within the group.

There will be several debates (one for each group). Everyone will be able to attend to view the debates, ask questions, and learn information. However, the main questions will come from the group members.

Debate winner: Post debate video and research papers to advertise our club on our websites.

We will also be making a YouTube Channel to display debate videos.
